This is a very dark "old amber" half pint Westford Glass Co Sheaf of Grain/Wheat historical flask blown in Westford,Conn in the early 1860s....it is grouped by McKearin as GXIII-35.... WESTFORD GLASS CO WESTFORD CONN boldly emb on front...A sheaf of grain with bold emb rake & pitchfork on back......Hand blown in mold, bimal....early smooth base with straight line hinge mold seam....crude drippy applied double ring collar....deep "Old" amber...1/2 pint....only 6"tall.....it has one chip on the very bottom surface only; no other damage. A nice clean flask. This is a great looking historical flask from the 1860s with drippy applied collar, bold embossing and real nice color!.....The chip is confined to the very bottom, so bottle displays excellent... .
