DESCRIPTION:This antique American hard cover volume is largely without any damage to its cloth cover, spine or interior, uncut paper pages. The black and white photographs of US President Theodore Roosevelt are also without damage, with no stains, tears, permutations, creases, corner folds, tanning, foxing or other depreciating conditions. Both the right and left edge of the cloth spine are intact and demonstrate only minimal wear and some slight color diminishment, where the cloth turns at the corners of the spine. The spine features embossed gold gilt lettering which is clearly readable and which hasn\'t suffered loss. The front and back covers also have an embossed, framed edge, stamped into the cloth wrapped hardcover of the volume\'s front and back. The interior paper pages are complete and without corner folds, tears, loss, stains, water damage, tanning or foxing. The four black and white photographs of Theodore Roosevelt are still in great shape. Clearly a cared for antique volume. Considered to be one of the most effective and influential of all American presidents, Theodore Roosevelt was a product of and therefore a prisoner of his own time and historical circumstances, but his thinking and acts as president, demonstrated a vision for the United States, that went far into the future. A man from one of the great families of American presidential political life, Theodore Roosvelt.
CONDITION:Good to Very Good overall antique condition. This volume is now 100 years old and its overall condition is consistent with an antique volume with this antique pedigree. The cloth binding is in very well preserved overall condition and came with no dust cover or jacket. The pages have uncut edges.
