Roughly 2 by 8 1/2 inch signature cut from Hixon's (a Milwaukee upscale men's clothing store of the 1950s and 1960s) VIP guest book page autographed by then Vice President and future President Lyndon B. Johnson, dated May 1963 and inscribed With Best Wishes. Authenticated and encapsulated by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).Obtained from son of Hixon's owner who worked at the store. The LBJ Presidential Library daily diary archives shows he arrived in Milwaukee on May 4, 1963 and signs guest book, which may or may not be the same as this one, but this definitely was signed on the same day.
