Description
- "Beware the Path of the Monster!" Guest-starring the Man-Thing. Script by Gerry Conway. Pencils by Ross Andru. Inks by Mike Esposito and Dave Hunt (backgrounds). Cover by Gil Kane.
- Peter Parker travels to Florida for a photo story on the mysterious Man-Thing. Before departing on his trip though, Peter calls his long-time friend and current sunshine state resident, Dr. Curt Connors, and asks for his assistance in locating the powerful swamp creature. Later on when the web-slinger arrives in Florida, he finds a creature of the swamp all right; but it's not the Man-Thing ? it's the Lizard! The three-way battle among the Lizard, Man-Thing, and the Amazing Spider-Man is awesome!
