Up for sale is this vintage or antique hand painted wood sign for New Braintree. This was previously in the collection of a Connecticut brain surgeon. The sign measures about 33 5/8” x 9 3/4”. It does show considerable wear including splits and nail holes, some separations at the seems and corners. I can’t figure out the age of this piece, it’s old, it has good natural age but you can see some paint in the splits in the wood indicating it was either repainted or painted later. No matter what it’s a great, primitive looking piece of country decor. Please view all 12 photos to help judge condition.
