Kewa (Santo Domingo) Pueblo Polychrome Canteen Pottery 5\" tall Tenorio Signed:
$108.00
In this listing we offer a signed Native American pottery canteen and leather strap (ca. 1974) which stands approximately 5\" tall, 4\" wide and 3 1/2\" deep. The signature is in an unusual location (on the side) and just has the last name Tenorio. Pottery with that signature from the 70\'s is almost certainly the work of either Robert or Hilda (siblings) and the signature (especially the letter \"E\") aligns it with Hilda (b. 1949, d. 2007). Hilda Tenorio Coriz is the daughter of Juanita Tenorio and sister to the more reknown Robert. The canteen was purchased by a family member who, with their family, spent 9 month residing in New Mexico. The piece itself is in good to very goodcondition with a few pits, a few surface scrapes and a hair-line crack on the bottom (please refer to the photos). If you have further questions about the provenance of this piece please ask. This item comes with a 30 day return; buyer pays return shipping. Thanks for looking.
