Matthew Henry collected and transcribedthis volume of his father's sermons and had them bound in this and apparently at least one other volume. He much admiredhis father and his work on his father's sermons was a labor of love. It should be said that this volume is entirelyin MH's handwriting, it having been carefully compared with another manuscript volume in his hand. Material in MH's hand is rare; this whole volume is both unique and important.
