Collectible and Rare Comstock Heritage Western Belt, Silver & 14K Gold:
$1950.00
This is a very special and rare vintage COMSTOCK HERITAGE hand crafted 3 Piece belt buckle Set. This is made with Sterling Silver and 14K gold. It is hallmarked by the maker with a CH. It was purchased by my husband at Falconhead in Brentwood California. He has owned it since but it just doesn\'t fit any longer and he isn\'t wearing his western wear like he used to.
The artist who made this one of a kind set is James Stegman, current president of Comstock Heritage. James started as an apprentice silversmith at the age of 12. He worked his way up the ladder working in every department. He learned each process necessary to create a work of art. I contacted James and sent him photos of the belt. He remembered making this belt with fondness. He designed it and handmade it from start to finish. No two are alike. I did not polish the piece because some people wait years for the patina or tarnishto take effect. If you like, I am more than happy to send the belt back to Comstock Heritage and James will refinish it for you.
Comes with a wonderful horned back lizard belt that fits a 41\"- 44.5\" inch waist. Additional holes can be punched. The color of this belt is a beautiful caramel color and is in excellent condition.
Comstock Heritagewas originally established in 1886 as J.C. Irvine Company inSan Francisco. It holds the honor of America\'s Oldest Western Silversmiths. In 1971 the name was re-christened as Comstock Silversmiths and moved to Carson City, Nevada. The company has maintained the highest quality workmanship over its history.
