This vintage album page is from an amazing collection thatwe obtained. This item comes from a collectionof over 15 album page books. All autographswere acquired in-person in 1947, 1948 and 1949 in and around the Los Angelesarea. On many of these the collector markedthe location and date where the autograph was obtained. Some of the locationsinclude: The Academy Award Theater, LaRue’s Restaurant, Ciro’s Night Club, CBS Playhouse, Biltmore Theater, LasPalmas Club, Brown Derby Restaurant, NBC Studios, LA Tennis Club, HollywoodStadium, Ambassador Hotel and many more iconic locations around Los Angeles.
If the location and date was written on the page we did ourbest to include that information on the title line (above). This collection has hundreds ofautographs. We have been going through doingour best to identify each of them. Thebetter names have been sent to Beckett Authentication and have beenencapsulated or stickered. If that isthe case it will clearly be seen in the pictures attached. In addition, we will put BAS (BeckettAuthentication Service) at the end of the title line to narrow searching.
With a collection this large we simply cannot afford to sendeverything in for authentication but any of autographs from this collectionwill pass any reputable 3rd party authentication process (BAS, PSAor JSA). As we continue to identify theautographs we will list them. Duringthis process sometimes, we might misspell and / or misidentify an autograph. While it is never our intention for that tohappen should you notice an error please do not hesitate to let us know.
