I am lucky that I have some other photos from the same family, so I was able to compare family names with some on other photos.
What I have found is that the woman of this couple is Priscilla Harriet Burk Kingsley. Priscilla was born in 1813 in Massachusetts. She died February 25, 1883.Priscilla's husband, Saxton Pickett Kingsley, was born March 7, 1806 in Massachusetts, and died February 26, 1868. They are both buried in Kingsley Cemetery, Waunakee, Dane County, Wisconsin. They had 5 children: Almon B. Kingsley (1832-1920), Charles A. Kingsley (1835-1856), Amelia P. Kingsley Udell (1840-1871), Ophelia A. Kingsley North (1841-1880) and George Pickett Kingsley (1843-1917).Yellowing to image. Fading to image. Soiling to image and card. As I am settling her estate, I will be listing these photos as quickly as I am able. There are hundreds of photos to go through, and I am trying to match any information my mother may have left with individual photos. Unfortunately, Mom had dementia at the end of her life and wasn't able to tell me much about her collection. She had done a lot of research into photographers and individual pieces in her collection, and often, but not always, filed her research with the photo(s). I search for more information on the internet and in history books, but it's a slow process and it will take me a long time to complete the sorting and selling process.
I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases, so please check out my other listings.
I will ship as soon as I receive payment.
