Billy the Kid Mother's Catherine McCarty-Antrim Locket of Henry McCarty and Joseph Antrim. This, I believe belonged to Billy the Kid's mother Catherine Antrim. It is a colored daguerreotype or tintype of Henry McCarty alias Wm. H. Bonney - Also a photo of step brother Joseph Antrim. This I believe is not a fake or repro. This is an original Locket. It is 1 7/16" in diameter. The push-type button to unlock does not work - I open it with a thin old ink pen tip. There are tiny dents on both sides of case. I've done a lot of research on this locket and I think it's right. If anyone is interested, they have to do all the forensic work them-self to prove me wrong or take pictures of this for latter use. These photos have never been seen as far as I know. Shipping does not include insurance.PS - The person on the left (I believe) is Billy the Kid and he does have blue eyes - it's hard to tell from black and white photos. His nose has a slight bend to the left and is identical to photos - can't tell about his large ears because of the hair that covers them. I think these photos were taken in his teen years - before he became a "bad boy". All features match good on all his photos. There are no hallmarks on the case to tell whether if is gold or not.
