I have just received your kind letter that you sent by Dickeman. It found me well. I was glad to hear that you was well. Everything is quiet here now and news is scarce in Camp at this time. We have not got any late news from across the River ever. Thins appear to be still of late.
Margaret, I want you to send me some clothes if you can the first chance you have. Send me a pair of pants and a shirt by Jo Lemmons if he can bring them. If he can\'t bring them, you can send them by Capt. Daugherty when he comes. I don\'t expect he will start till Sept.
I am still driving a team yet and am getting along well. I am very glad to hear of you all having a big meeting and you enjoying yourselves so well.
