1817 Shaftsbury, Vermont Manuscript Broadside:
A scarce & early real estate broadside which reads in full: "For Sale/About
twenty-five acres of Exelent [sic] land laying in the town of Shaftesbury about
half a mile from David Andre's Inn has a sawmill and a never failing streem
[sic] of watter [sic] and is well situated for a Mechanic has some very valuable
Pine Timber growing on the land for further information inquire of David
Matterson near the premises June 4th 1817".Written on a 5" x 7 1/2"
piece of wove paper.
Condition: Has tack holes in the four corners, one reinforced with archival tape, two fold lines, otherwise very good and quite displayable.
