A striking commemorative bronze medallion issued by the historic Willard InterContinental Washington, one of America's most storied grand hotels.
This solid cast bronze relief features the Willard name and insignia on one side and an architectural rendering of the hotel's Beaux-Arts facade on the reverse. The medallion is permanently encased within a thick, freestanding lucite block - giving it clean architectural lines and a modernist presentation that feels equally at home on an executive desk, in a law office library, or within a curated Washington D.C. interior.

Excellent vintage condition. The bronze displays natural patina within the recessed detailing, enhancing the depth of the relief. The lucite remains clear with light surface wear consistent with age. There are no cracks or structural issues. The original Willard presentation box is included and shows some storage wear. Displays beautifully.
