Beautiful Vintage International Silver Co. "Castleton" Silverplated Pitcher – 1955 Presentation Trophy!
Up for sale is a gorgeous, heavy-weight silver-plated water pitcher made by the renowned International Silver Company in their timeless "Castleton" pattern (Model 685). This particular piece features a striking braided border around the center and a beautifully flared pedestal foot.
Unique Historical Engraving:
The front of the pitcher is custom-engraved with a mid-century club emblem reading:
• "S.B.O.C.C. / CLASS D / CHAMPION / 1955"
This unique retro presentation inscription gives the piece fantastic character, making it an excellent conversation starter, a unique flower vase, or a standout addition to a vintage trophy collection.
Condition Details (Please Review All Photos):
• Exterior: In excellent vintage condition with a bright, high-mirror polish. There is minimal surface wear, light micro-scratching consistent with age, and no major dents or deep gouges.
• Interior: Shows some expected dark tarnish/patina deep inside the base from age and historical use, which is completely normal for 1950s silverplate hollowware. It can be further polished out if desired.
• Markings: Fully stamped on the underside with the official International Silver Co. logo crest, "CASTLETON," and design number Size: Measures approximately 9" tall to the highest point of the lip.
