Condition (see definitions below): Very Good+--tiny corner bumps. Please look at the scans and photo, and use the magnifier, as they are part of the description.
  • Subject: Snowy night landscape framed in foreground by candle-lit pine bough and pine cones, and lit-up church and shooting star in the background.
  • Greeting: \"Bright Be Your Christmas\"
  • Hold-to-Light features: Numerous die-cut details--yellow stars on lit candle tips, church windows, a shooting star, tiny blue crescent moonin the night sky and a tiny red heart just above the church--all glow in different colors when postcard is held in front of a light.
  • Details: Charming artwork includes a green border decorated at the corners with horseshoe designs for luck and pretty color scheme of blue, green and white with accents of yellow, red and brown.
  • Publisher\'s mark in green on back: Initials WH above a B inside a shield shape, after \"D.R.G.M.no. 88077\" which is the German registration recorded in 1898 for Wolf Hagelberg AG, Berlin (thanks to The Postcard Album website.)
  • Interesting note: This postcard originally had an undivided back but the sender drew their own dividing line and included a message next to the name and address of the recipient. This postcard was printed no later then 1907, when messages on the back of postcards became legal in the USA.

Fair - Cardis intact. Excess soil, stains, creases, writing or cancellation mayaffect picture.
