About this card:"Landscape Locals", Greetings from...... were very popular in the 1930's. A salesman would visit the town paper, druggist or book seller and offer to customize postcards with the town name. Often, cards similar to the area (forests, oceans and the like) were selected to represent the location with similar scenery. These were very small towns that wouldn't have warranted a mass-printing of a postcard and would never been otherwise mentioned on a postcard.
