Here offered is another interesting specimen from the famous Comstock Lode. The specimen consists of disseminated silver sulfides as well as pyrite. Enriched around the galena is polybasite/pearceite as well as what appears to be tiny amounts of acanthite. I didn't spot any native gold var. electrum but there are most likely some small blebs of that as well. The specimen is large enough that could be cut up which is the best way to look for any gold in this kind of material. It's also very interesting how there are "clasts" of host rock scattered throughout the quartz and ore. Geology is amazing! Really rare locality!11x8x5.5 cm
