Antique c1894 Gorham repousse sterling silver dresser, pin or jewelry tray. Incredibly hammered repousse work to show floating cherubs, flowers and more. All repousse work is crisp and well defined showing virtually no wear. The tray is monogrammed MLL(?) Xmas 1894. It measures 6 1/8\" long x 3\" wide x 1/2\" deep and weighs 111 grams. The bottom of the tray is stamped sterling 391 along with a Gorham maker\'s mark used in the last quarter of the 19th century. The tray looks to have had a light gilt finish at one time but most on the top has faded while the underside remains more intact. Please enlarge all pics for best details. Really a lovely item that has survived in great condition.
