The entire briar bowl and shank are covered in a hand-stitched tan pigskin leather wrap, giving the pipe a unique tactile and visual appearance. The stamping on the shank reads DERBY PIGSKIN / FINEST BRIAR ITALY. The black stem is stamped DERBY near the saddle.The bowl interior is clean, showing little to no carbon cake — this pipe appears to have seen minimal use. The leather wrap is in very good condition with the white stitching intact along the seam running the full length of the bowl and bottom. Natural aging to the leather seam is present but consistent with age, not damage.This pipe would make an excellent addition to a collection or can be put to use. Sold as-is, as pictured.
