Up for sale is a lovely original vintage black and white snapshot photograph dating to the late 1940s or 1950s. This crisp piece provides a wonderful, candid look at mid-century travel, public architecture, and family life. The front of the photograph captures a family group of four posing closely together on the stone steps of a grand civic plaza or park tier. Prominently featured in the center background is a massive, classical bronze monument sculpture depicting a heroic, muscular warrior figure holding a round protective shield with his arm raised, flanked by stately robed figures atop a high concrete pedestal base.
