THE ITEM:"FAIR/GOOD". Lower grade but solid. It has a very nasty stain on cover, over the man being punched in the face and the woman in peril on the floor. The stain goes into book, but only lightly and only for a few pages. ...Piece off back cover, a bit of a ripple from some possible exposure to moisture. There are two pieces of the right edge overhang that may come off unless handled very carefully, but the pages are NOT brittle overall. ...I believe this is the FIRST of three Black Hood appearances in the pulps.
