An original policing pay document from the Borough of Maidstone signed by the Superintendent, Inspector and Constables. It relates to money being received from 29th October - 4th November 1848.
Condition Details: This original document has the expected signs of age related wear, small tears, creases, fading, discolouration and marks. It was later framed, which shows wear, damage and dust / debris behind the glass.
It is a remarkable piece of early policing history.
