A beautiful Schatt & Morgan 1997 dated 042276 Teardrop Jack with jigged blue bone scales in excellent condition.
Measures approximately 3 7/8 inches long overall, closed. Master spear blade measures approximately 2 11/16 inches long, edge only. Obverse tang stamped with “SM” logo over “Titusville PA”. Reverse tang stamped “Made in USA” over date stamp 1997. Obverse blade etched with SM Logo and “Trade Mark”. Secondary pen blade measures approximately 1 11/16 inches long, edge only. Obverse tang stamped “Schatt & Morgan”. Reverse blade etched “042206”. Jigged blue bone scales secured by four pins, obverse with keystone shield, unengraved. Nickel silver bolsters. Brass liners and spacer.
Good snap and half stops to both blades. Scales good, no chips or cracks. Blades with very light surface scratching and opening/closing marks – no ttampt made to buff or polish. Very good example.
