Original 1917 Loose-Wiles Biscuit Company letterhead featuring the iconic Sunshine Biscuits advertising logo and graphics. Measures approximately 8.5 x 11 inches.

Dated April 2, 1917, from Rutland, Vermont, this typed business letter is addressed to Mr. T. J. Healey of Manchester Depot, Vermont. The brief correspondence discusses reimbursement for 256 miles of travel at 2½ cents per mile, with the Sunshine salesman noting that he had used nearly all of the mileage and was enclosing a check for the full amount.

The attractive letterhead prominently advertises \"Sunshine\" American & English Style Biscuits, Crackers & Sugar Wafer Specialties and includes the colorful early Sunshine Biscuits trademark with wheat graphics. A nice example of early American food advertising, bakery, and grocery ephemera from the well-known Loose-Wiles Biscuit Company, predecessor to the famous Sunshine brand.
