1909 Pittsfield Boat Club Membership Card, Frank B White Allen Bagg Mayor:
$39.00
This original 1909–1910 Pittsfield Boat Club Membership Certificate is an exceptional piece of early Massachusetts ephemera issued to member Frank B. White. Measuring approximately 2.75 x 4.5 inches on a heavy, thick cardstock, this authentic artifact features beautiful turn-of-the-century graphics, including an ornate top border illustration, an inset etching of a sailboat, and the printed signature of Club President Allen H. Bagg—who notably served multiple terms as the Mayor of Pittsfield. This card is valid through May 1, 1910, reflecting the peak era of the booming canoe and sailing culture on Pontoosuc Lake. Please note that the card has a heavy stain across the surface, along with some typical age toning and corner wear consistent with its age, all of which are clearly visible in the photos. It remains a scarce and fascinating addition for collectors of Berkshires history, vintage boating memorabilia, or early municipal Americana. ....... code Jsb 342
