Collins Const. of the Town of Colchester for safe keeping, one Fanning mill Valued at Six dollars, one cart, Valued at fifteen dollars, two plows Valued at six dollars, one saddle, Valued at five dollars, one staple and ring, Valued at one dollar, one saw mill saw, Valued at five dollars, 2 ½ bushels of Grass seed, Valued at five dollars, one Sorrel mare, Valued at sixty dollars, one sulkey Valued at twenty dollars, one single Harness, Valued at ten dollars, three Short Sleds, Valued at nine dollars, 2300 feet of White Pine Boards, Valued at sixteen dollars, 180 White Cedar Posts, Valued at eight dollars, five sythes and five sythes snathes, and two hay rakes, Valued at five dollars, one Buffalowe Skin, Valued at three dollars, two tons of hay Valued at ten dollars, and Seventy Cords of Hard Wood Valued at twenty five Dollars, two cows and three calves, Valued at forty four dollars, amounting to two hundred & fifty two dollars, attached this day on a writ in favour of Hawley M. Giddings vs. Hiram Bean demanding in damage five hundred dollars and returnable to the Chittenden County Court next to be Holden at Burlington the last Tuesday save one of March A.D. 1838.
All of the above described property we jointly and severally promise to redeliver to the said Collins or to any other Officer holding this Receipt on Demand,
