Frances M. Wheelockwas born29 Mar 1846 in Greigsville, Livingston Co., New York, daughter ofCharles Augustus Wheelock(1820 - 1905) and Fanny M. Dodge(1825 - 1901). She was a school teacher. On the 27th of September 1880, in Pueblo, Colorado, she married widowerCharles W. Kessler, born about 1840. Frances died 21 October 1897 in Spokane, Washington, and rests in Tacoma Cemetery in Pierce Co., Washington near her father and young son.
This portrait measures2.5 x4 inches and is in very good to excellent condition for its age, but is not perfect, as expected with a photo over 150 years old. There is aging. Please see photo scans for inspection.The "Ancestry Ephemera" watermark you see will not appear in the original photograph you will receive.
