A green blue, maybe best called cyan, glazed rustic/primitive style tile or wall plaque of a Rooster-Chicken. Wonderful Folk Art butter stamp by potter Peter Wendland of VT. Probable 20+ years old and owned by in-laws from Vermont. His Studio Maker’s Mark is impressed on the back.
I have read that Monkton, Vermont located just south of Burlington is a farming area.
Dimensions: somewhat circular the diameter is about 6 inches
Weight: about 13 ounces
Has a hole, center top, to use for hanging.
In very good condition-undamaged, no cracks.
