Vintage Dover 5 Gallon Testing Measure:

This is a 5 gallon testing measure can, used to accurately dispense liquids, this is a very early can as there is no patent date just “ patent applied for”on the tag, best guess is it’s from the early 1900s probably in the 1920s. The sight glass is acrylic pretty sure it was originally glass, easy to understand that it didn’t last. Still a great addition to any antique collection!
