THE BRIAR WORKSHOP #3 Freehand STOWE Vermont Tobacco Pipe ~ Nachwalter Flame:
$149.99
Evening folks. Welcome to Brook & Boulder. We collect and sell only what we have a passion for. I particularly, have been collecting pipes for almost a decade. To steal a quote made by Julian 'Stinky' Emery a character from a Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce classic Dressed to Kill, ''I'm a collector you know, and a collector buys but never sells''. Well... deep cut quote or not, I'm sellin. Some of the pipes you see listed are from my private collection and others I have simply purchased in passing. My pipes are ready to smoke once you receive them.A bit about this pipe: Founded by Elliott Nachwalter and Danish artisan Jorg Jemelka in 1976, The Briar Workshop which was located in Stowe Vermont has crafted some of the most well known and highest quality briar pipes known to the community. Fueled by Jorg Jemelka hyper focus on'lights-out' automation, producing pipes mainly on lathes and with 'machinery' (that the workshop acquired from Century equipment in a collaborative arrangement with Ehrlich's of Boston) they ended up turning out a much higher number of 'standard shapes' over the years making this freehand offering all the more special.
