Rare Tintype Of Old West Regulator Outlaw Dave Rudabaugh With Friends:
Dirty Dave Rudabaugh is sitting on the left of the tintype. I believe he is twirling a pistol as there is a blur of a barrel in an upward direction. I have an idea of whom the other men are in this photo but am curious of others identification. Any input upon the ladies would be greatly appreciated. Dave is wearing the same clothes and hat as can easily be seen in comparison to another agreed upon image of him. No transparency overlay necessary. I purchased this tintype from an online dealer. The identification of Dave was mine and thats where the provenance starts. I have tintype whispered other historically important images. Way beyond luck or coincidence it is perhaps a thing of fate or destiny or perhaps something preternatural
There is a bit of remote view in tapping historical imagination. Read a book and see things clear as day in the minds eye is the same thing. Am aware how strange it is to be able to do so and return with new data. Historical presence is the term i use to define the charge or potential an item, a photo, the writing or music has. All energy seeks resolve and so i suppose items with story and mystery hold more charge. One could say haunted but that is a vulgar and negative approach to it.
Feel free to send your questions. Autonaysayeers need not. The price tag is such to gather the proper light to the tintype. I certainly could use the funds. This is a way to ensure the item will be considered by future historians.
