Rare 1930's Henry Sears & Co Hunting KNIFE w/sheath. Made by Queen. NICE. Super rare
This rare Hunting Knife that was sold by Henry Sears & Sons 1865 in the 1930's after Marbles Woodcraft patent expired. This knife was manufactured by Queen Cutlery under contract for Henry Sears. Knife measures 8.75" long with the blade being 4 5/8". Blade is full and lightly used and sharpened. Bright finish. Marked HENRY SEARS & SONS 1865 on the tang. Nickel silver guard. Handle scales are beautiful Cocobolo wood with black and brass spacers pinned to the tang. There is an inlaid silver escutcheon marked QUEEN. Aluminum knob 1/2" round brass nut. Really an attractive old American-made hunting knife. It comes in a replacement handmade leather sheath that was made for it. This rare knife will make an excellent addition to any collection. Extremely well made and the knife and sheath in the pictures will be the exact knife and sheath you receive.
