The Northfield UN-X-LD #88 Bayou Trapper is something of a hybrid with a Stockman style handle, two-blade Trapper blade setup and Muskrat clip point and Lambsfoot blades. A Pattern Production Premiere, the Bayou Trapper will be great for users and collectors alike with a unique style and timeless GEC build quality. This version comes with Desert Ironwood covers and Keyhole shield.

Blade:Polished carbon steel blades open from the same end in standard Trapper fashion with strong spring tension and a snappy half stop. Both blades, a Muskrat clip with "Northfield UN-X-LD" etch and tapered Lambsfoot, open via classic nail nicks.
Handle:Built on a traditional brass liner and pin construction, the stout handle sports pinched and grooved nickel silver bolsters framing striking Desert Ironwood covers for a solid grip and eye-catching look. The full length back springs protect the blades when closed and deliver solid slip joint operation with good walk and talk.
Each GEC folder ships rolled in wax paper inside a shipping tube with company information on the front.
1095 High Carbon Steel:Highly popular, simple carbon steel. Used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low caroffere content but very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
