This is a New Fisher Space Pen, Model#400RAW- Raw BrassBulletSpace Pen. It comes with black inkand a medium point. This is a cap type pen,not a retractable pen.Itis acompact pen with the cap on and a full sized pen with the writingpoint exposed. This pen is 5-3/8" long when ready to write and capped isonly 3-3/4" long. The barrel is .350 that is a standard sized pen and hastaperedgrip. It has a gift box and sleeve. Fisher BulletPens come in a variety of finishes and colors, with and without pocket clips.

THE FINISH IS RAW BRASS........it will not stay as it comes (whether fresh, or aspictured) if you get more patina than you like simply clean the pen with someNever Dull and start over. This is not sold as a patina pen. The finish is rawbrass, and Patina is a process that WILL happen to this pen. We have buyersthat are disappointed if the pen comes like new (less patina) because they likethe patina, Other buyers are disappointedif the pen comes with morepatina than pictured. Yet others say they like the way it came but just keepsgetting darker..... Yes, it is a process. PLEASE, LOOK UP RAW BRASS AND PATINASO YOU KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT.

The standard Fisher “SPR Series”Refills were developed for NASA and have been used on EVERY Space Shuttlemission both American and Russian. They are hermetically sealed with aspeciallyformulated thixotropic inkandpressurized to about 35 PSI. Theyare the onlyrefills that willwrite at any angle because they do not rely on gravity.
