The only names in the album were Aunt Julina, Frederick Edwin Colburn who died June 10th, 1946and Joslyn "The Great Fisherman" Boston MA. Many photos but hard to figure out who is who. There was an envelope addressed to Mrs. F.E. Colburn Glens Falls NY dated July 1946 from Coburn's clipping bureau New York City. Her husband passed away shortly before that. The photo that I believe is Frederick has Fred Colburn Ludlow VT written on back. His obituary said he died at Glens Falls hospital. He owned and operated the Rialto and Park theaters for a number of years as well as the Rialto hotel. A native of Vermont Frederick was a classmate and roommate of Calvin Coolidge when they attendedNorthfield Academy in Vermont which was a preparatory school. He was a first cousin of the late Mrs. John J Sargent wife of Attorney General Sargent, a member of Coolidge's cabinet. Survivors include his wife, Dr. Celia Micks Colburn, a son Paul H Colburn of Big Bay, a stepdaughter Mrs. George W Wriston, Lake George and a niece Mrs. Albert C Schwab Palm Beach Florida. On the clasp of the album it says Christmas 88 from Edward. That is all of the hints I can find from the album so good luck. If you have any other information on anybody from the album let me know and I will add it to the description.
