Huge photo and ephemera album with hundreds of items. From the late 1920s and early 1930s, this blue suede album has all girl prep school, Buffalo Seminary emblem on cover along with the name Mary Williams. Mary was a resident of Williamsville, NY, and a student at Buffalo Seminary. This is her enormous scrapbook / photo album, nicely curated and annotated - providing a time capsule experience. Measures about 14 x 10 inches and 2 1/2 inches thick.
There are hundreds of items including dozens of photographs, theatre programs, holiday cards, calling cards, party invitations, party favors andmementos, ticket stubs, programs, news clippings, etc - with detailed notes on the happenings. Some of the noteworthy items:
