Fantastic and super rare letter opener by designer Troy Diepenbrock. Signed on bottom side with name, year (1993), and USA. It is very much in the style of an Inuit soapstone carving. I am not actually sure what the material is. It could be stone but resin is probably more likely. It looks kind of like a beaver but I think its supposed to be a squirrel. Great vintage condition!
