This is a Vintage Rhinestone Dorset 5th Avenue Powder Compact Gold Tone.
This compact was made by Dorset - Rex Fifth avenue. This three dimensional floral design is accented with multi colored rhinestones in orange, blue, ruby red and emerald green! The sides are gold and it has a push button clasp. When opened, there is a beveled oval mirror inside the cover and inside the base is the original fifth avenue pink powder puff with ribbon handle branded with the Dorset Fifth Avenue logo.
Measures 2.75” x 2 1/2"x .75”. This piece has scuffs on the side and bottom but all rhinestones are in place. The metal does not hold a magnet but I am not sure of the material.
