One of a kind ( OOAK ) Title is in notes " From top of Johnson's Pasture " Mr. Laudermilk, you don't see anything like that " May 6, 1939. He wrote a quote someone spoke to him while he was painting.

Beautiful historic watercolor painting on paper The paper is from an old sketch book by M. Grumbacher.. The artist is a listed artist,a scientist and geologist, chemist, geo chemist and botanical painter and illustrator. His name is Jerome D. Laudermilk ( 1893 - 1956 ) an American Listed Artist, and this is 100% accurate in provenance, though he did not sign the painting, he did personalize notes in the border of painting, in his own hand writing. Condition is very good and clean on actual painting and good condition in blank margins. He intentionally matted most of his paintings, and paper was NOT archival or acid free in the 1930's, so there are some strong age patina's marks on the front and back of painting. I wrote the provenance in back in pencil. The paper matte he adhered is very fragile. His method, was to adhere the matte's on top of the painting, and glue on the top blank margin only.
