VAILLANCOURT MONTPELIER SANTA- MONTPELIER MUSEUM EXCLUSIVE 2010-53 RARE:
For your consideration is VAILLANCOURT FOLK ART Number 2010-53, Montpelier Santa. This Santa was created as an exclusive to be sold in the Montpelier Museum. The Montpelier Plantation is the home of our fourth President James Madison and his wife Dolly, at one point it was also a DuPont estate, currently it is a National Historical Landmark and listed as a National Register of Historic Places. Very few of these Santa’s were ever created. This charming Santa depicts the Montpelier Plantation during a winter snow fall. The colors used on this Santa are breathtaking and I just love how Vaillancourt has goldleafed Santa’s lantern. This Santa stands 6.5 inches tall, and is in excellent new condition with no chips, cracks or flaking paint.
This Santa would make a perfect gift for any Santa or Vaillancourt collector. Comes from my smoke free home. Ships Insured.
