Hello and welcome to my listing. Here is a glass ashtray from a bygone era of the Griswold Hotel and Country Club in Groton, CT. The Griswold was the largest luxury (400 room) hotel in The Northeast that hosted many famous people in its prime (early 20th century) including, the Rockefellers, the Vanderbilts, two U.S. presidents, William Howard Taft, Franklin D. Roosevelt and other celebrities including Jaqueline Kennedy. The hotel was razed in the mid 1960s. I have two ashtrays available. Please see pics. Thanks so much for looking.
