An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage sterling silver Strathmore pattern flatware service for twelve persons in the Art Deco style; an addition to our canteen of cutlery collection.

The pieces of this exceptional vintage Elizabeth silver canteen flatware service for 12 persons have been crafted in the Strathmore pattern.

The handle of each piece has a ridged stem with a stepped squared top, all in the Art Deco style; this pattern is a design produced by Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd.

This impressive service benefits from a fine and impressive solid silver fish service.

The fundamental pieces of this service have been crafted by the Sheffield silversmith and flatware maker Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd between 1948 - 1953.

The blades to the knives bear the maker's mark 'Cooper Bros & Sons, Stainless Steel, Sheffield England' and the handles bear the registration number 'RD 820564', in addition to the full hallmarks.

These impressive examples of vintage silverware are supplied in felt cutlery rolls; which not only protect the items in storage but significantly reduces tarnishing.

Condition

This vintage Art Deco cutlery set is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
Each piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the reverse surface of each handle are all very clear.
