Sign reads "Somerset & Dorset Railway, Company Rule, Enginemen are forofferden to blow their whistles or drain cocks whilst standing in the station as this may frighten horses and alarm passengers. Furthermore leaking cocks must be attended to. A fine of sixpence for each leaking cock will be strictly enforced. 1864. By Order".
