ROBERT GRAHAM COLLECTION
HISTORY: Robert Graham was born in 1908 in Stillwater Township, Minnesota. He married Margaret Thereau and they lived in Grant Township near Stillwater until his death in 1981. He was a bridge architect but his passion was trains, specifically locomotives. Riding a motorcycle, he and Margaret traveled across the country taking pictures of train engines as they came off of assembly lines. At home, he developed his photos in his basement dark room and systematically filed them in albums. Upon his death in 1981, Margaret have this collection of photos to Myron Gilbertson who was a long time neighbor, friend and fellow train enthusiast. Myron was well known in the Upper Midwest and around the country for his model railroading and was published in several magazines. He proudly kept and stored this collection until his death in 2012. At his time his wife, Kate Gilbertson, retained ownership and kept it in her possession until August 1st, 2018 at which time we, Jonah's Online Sales, purchased the entire collection to be broken up and offered here on .
