$525.00
Hi <> I have been a member of since 2000 and have not sold on in many years because of no time to do so. Now that I am retired I do have the time. I have collected cutlery and other items for over 50 years and am now starting to sell this lifetime collection. Among some of the things I will be selling will be: Antique Bowie knife and folders, Marbles knife, WWII Theater Knife, Antique and modern Pocket knife (Many Brands), Parker knife collection, Straight razor, Antique and modern Hunting Knife, Old jewelry Bakelite sterling and costume, PLUS MANY other items. Be sure to check back for new listings.
This sale is for a Richtig * * RARE * FJR Clarkson Neb *. As close as I can measure the knife is 6 1/8\" from tip to end of lanyard loop. 2 3/4\" blade. NS guard aluminum ferule and pommel. I think this a pre WWII knife or possibly WWII. Richtig used aluminum for pommels and ferules on some of his knives during that time period. Also the handle art using very thin brass spacers and thin red micarta spacers were of that time period. Pommel is etched with owners name and \"Troop 64 cub Scouts\". I purchased this knife many years ago from famous Richtig collector Harlin Suedmeier. At that time Harlin told me this is the only knife of this kind he had ever seen. Knife shows use, sharpening and a light cleaning. All is tight and sound. Knife is unmarked but no doubt of who the maker is. Leather sheath has the keeper strap broken and has dry pealing leather. VERY RARE ONE OF A KIND RICHTIG * CUB SCOUT KNIFE * <> AND <> I will include the 1942 silver quarter (did not originally come with knife).
