Rare & Interesting Ansel Adams Letter Edward Weston Brett Photo Autograph Signed:
Rare and interesting letter from Ansel Adams to photographer Brett Weston's in-laws about their daughter's marital problems with Weston. Adams always typed his letters, even personal correspondence, but reserved the "Ansel" signature for good friends. The envelope is also special with Adams' handwritten "Air Mail" on the front and back in the same red pen and with the same flourish as his signature, as well as the inclusion of a 5¼" x 7¾" b&w halftone print, still wrapped in its hand-folded protective cardboard.

Just returned from Yosemite Workshop; all went well, but the Beard is Weary! 60 people, and a bright spanking new darkroom! It IS an effort, but worth it!
We are distressed beyond words over the turn of events in the Highlands. It was the last thing we thought would occur! You will recall that I expressed myself as believing this was just about the ideal solution. Ah Wilderness!!
We all love Tina - she is a wonderful girl. She is a very strong person and I think will always be able to ride any storm. We are also very fond of Brett but it is difficult to comprehend the Weston marital philosophy.
At any event, we are thinking about you and Tina. I had a most wonderful visit with you, and it is our hope that we can see you soon!
Dave and Sally are due here for a visit with us July 3-8th. Wish you could join them.
All best - as ever!!
