If you collect automotive paraphernalia you do not want to miss getting this EXTREMELY RARE item!
I have had this in my collection for over 40 years and have never seen another one for sale (not too sure how many were made)!This a Venturi Demonstration Unit built by Borroughs in 1962 for General Motors' Buick Motor Division. It was used as a visual aid for instructors when teaching carburetor theory. There is an original Buick Motor Division letter dated May 14, 1962 and explains the purpose of the unit and instructions on how to use it. I am guessing that this unit came out of the Rochester Carburetor plant since the case is labeled "DELCO ROCHESTER".Because of it's rarity, I have only had this on display and never plugged it in to see if it works so it is being sold untested and as-is.
