Robert Eastburn, New Brunswick, NJ.was probably the earliest plane maker in New Jersey, working from 1795 to 1826 according to AWP, 5th edition, page 115. This is a early example of a Wedge Arm Plow Plane. Great mark! Rated G+. The stock and fence are in great condition. The arms show a lot of wear and earlier repairs. Keep in mind that this well used plow plane is over 200 years old! Arm wedges were replaced by a previous owner. A great addition to your collection! The plane iron profile is 1/4 inch wide.
