The sale is for a Porcelain Plaque of Queen Elizabeth the second. There where only two Plaques ever made, one was presented to Queen Elizabeth the second when she visited the United States in July of 1976 for the bicentennial celebration in Philadelphia. The British concellet commissioned Artist Vernon Wood to produce the Plaque on Porcelain using a tecknique that the artist had invented back in the 1960,s. The Plaque Measures 13" by 16" and is framed in a Gold frame also made by the artist. Everything from poring the porcelain and firing it in the artist's kiln where all done by hand. The image was printed in full color using powdered glass colors at 1400 degrees witch melted this unique work of art into the glaze of the porcelain piece. The back of the Plaque reads.
